Muse, Vampire Weekend, The Dead Weather confirmed for new ‘Twilight’ soundtrack

Muse, Vampire Weekend, The Dead Weather and Florence And The Machine have been confirmed to feature on the soundtrack album for the forthcoming film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Muse have contributed a new song ‘Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)’, which will also be the lead single, while Vampire Weekend have provided a new track ‘Jonathan Low’.
Other artists set to feature on the compilation also include The Dead Weather, who have contributed the new song, ‘Rolling In On A Burning Tire’ and Beck and Bat For Lashes, who have collaborated on track called ‘Let’s Get Lost’.
The full soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is released on June 8, with the film itself on general release from June 30. Watch the trailer by clicking below.

May 12th, 2010 Oblioo Summit Entertainment, Chop Shop Records and Atlantic Records have announced the release of “THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE – ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK,” the musical companion to the highly anticipated third installment in Summit’s film franchise. Due in stores and online June 8th, the entire soundtrack features songs that will appear in the movie, highlighted by Muse’s brand new single “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever).” THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is slated to open in theatres nationwide on June 30th.
