Many people were critical of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way’s incredible first-week sales of 1,108,000 copies sold, as 440,000 of those albums were sold through Amazon.com, and only for 99 cents. Though that may have been a genius marketing strategy at the time to secure an impressive first-week figure, Billboard is changing its rules so that scoring a #1 album by lowering the price of your LP will be a thing of the past.

Lady Gaga has released a teaser for the music video for her latest single “Marry The Night.” Gaga revealed via Twitter on Thursday that the full video will be seven and a half minutes long.

Music stars the world over gathered in Belfast, Northern Ireland to kick off the 18th annual MTV Europe Music Awards tonight (November 6, 2011). Lady Gaga was the big winner at this years show, taking home four awards, including Best Female, Best Song and Best Video categories, as well as Biggest Fan – a brand new award that celebrates artists with the most committed fanbase.
