And just when you thought Bruce Willis has given up his ‘hero’ costume, here comes Red, a movie directed by Robert Schwentke (Tattoo, The Family Jewels, The Time Traveler’s Wife).

The story is quite simple – you have a former CIA agent (Bruce Willis) whose life is in jeopardy due to a serial killer (how original ). Determined to live a peaceful life with his girlfriend (Mary-Louise Parker), he gathers up his former team (Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich) to teach the killer a lesson (look out!). I wonder who will win – and I’m dying to see Helen Mirren in an action kick .

The idea for a movie came from a series of comics drawn by English author Warren Ellis – seems like comics are getting stronger and stronger
